~I can't tell you how sad I am about Wayne. We had so much fun skating together on Saturday. I miss Wayne a great deal. He has been in my thoughts every day, all day. I can't believe that someone with so much energy and vitality is gone so suddenly. I have been blessed to have learned about rollerskating from him. I was so looking to learning more and camping with Wayne. We have truly lost a good friend.

I am very shocked and saddened by this news. Wayne was the nicest person, truly an asset to the Metro Rollers. My prayers are with the family.
This just continues to remind me that life is truly short. I am more committed than ever to love the people God has put in my life and not take people for granted. I think this is a lesson to us all.

I am very late in getting the sad, sad news about skate brother Wayne of the DC Metro Rollers. Truly, truly this is very sad news. Any loss of our skate family is sad, but this one in particular hit home. We all were just skating at the Tampa Soul Roll this past January and indeed I was shock to hear. To the DC Metro Rollers my deepest sympathy goes out to all of you, but most of all to Wayne's family. My God.....may God keep us under his wing. It is a reminder that everyday is a new day and the next day is not promised, but a blessing. You all are in our prayers.
